The Pokémon Company has released a new information for Pokémon Home, it is the upcoming cloud-based service what will helps players store and trade their favourite Pokémon across a compatible games.
The new service will use your Nintendo Account on both the Nintendo Switch and mobile. You will be able to access the same Pokémon Boxes on both versions of the app.
The good thing is you will be able to move Pokémon between compatible games, but you'll also be trade Pokémon on the go and there are two different pricing plans available.
The Switch version of Pokémon Home supports connectivity with Pokémon Sword and Shield, and Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!. Support for Pokémon GO is coming in the future.
The mobile version of Pokémon Home can be used in other ways, too.
Wonder Box lets you trade with people around the world, even when you’re not using the app.
GTS lets you specify which Pokémon you want to trade and which Pokémon you want to receive, matching you with another player who meets that criteria;
Room Trade lets you create a room and trade Pokémon among the people who join; and 'Friend Trade' allows you to trade your Pokémon with other users who you’ve become friends with in the app.
Pokémon Home will be available on a free plan, or a 'Premium' plan. The US Premium plan will cost $2.99 for a 30-day subscription, $4.99 for a 90-day subscription, or $15.99 for an annual subscription. All the prices are US Prices and we will update the prices when the Australian prices are listed.
I think that he biggest surprise is that it has been revealed that Pokémon will be registered to the National Pokédex when you deposit them in the Boxes in Pokémon Home. Mega Evolutions and Gigantamax forms will be registered separately, aswell.
Pokémon Home will be available in February 2020, no specific release date has been set just yet.
Will you be subscribing to Pokémon Home?
